Preparation Steps
01
Preheat your oven to 180°C. Grease and line an 8-inch round pie dish with baking paper to ensure an easy release after baking. For individual servings, divide the mixture between 6 small ramekins.
02
In a bowl, add all your crumble dough ingredients. Make sure your butter is softened. Rub butter, flour, coconut, sugar and salt between your fingers until the dough comes together.  Set aside

Press half of the dough into your pie dish or individual ramekins and prick a few holes with a fork. Sprinkle crust with your cinnamon sugar mixture.
To a big pan, add 1 cup of water, sliced apples, butter, sugar, vanilla essence and cinnamon. Bring to a boil then simmer for 10 minutes until apples are softened. Take off the heat and let cool for 10 min.

To your cooled apples, add condensed milk, lemon juice and egg. Stir until everything is combined and has thickened slightly. Pour apple mixture onto your crumble base then crumble the remaining half of your dough on top of the apples. Sprinkle some of your cinnamon sugar mixture on top. You can also add extra topping to the dough like coconut flakes, almonds or pecan nuts to make it extra special.
